Steven walked slowly along the lake edge watching the water hit the edge as he walked past it, he picked up a stone and threw it along the top watching it bounce along before finally sinking, he watched the bubbles expand from where the stone had bounced along the water. He sat down at the very top of the lake and just looked over it, he wasn't sure what to do today, he wanted it to be a quiet day so he thought the lake would be the best place today.
He put his head down on the grass, the sun had been shining all day so it wasn't damp, which he was rather glad off. He looked up at the clouds in the sky, it was getting dark but that didn't really bother Steve, he liked to see the sky change colour. He heard a few kids screaming and he smiled, how he loved running around the edge of the woods when he was younger. He sat up again and cast his eye over the lake once more, there were no ripples as there was no wind. He looked over at the children at the woods and simply smiled.
