Cheryl was making her way down to the beach, she did this most nights, it helped her to relax after any day, she loved just walking along the beach it was quiet at this time of night which always gave her time to think. As she got to the edge of the beach she took her shoes of, she loved the feeling of the sand and sea on her feet, it was calming and natural to her.
She walked down to where the waves where crashing against the sand, she stopped to feel the waves on her feet before walking along the edge of the sea, her thoughts turned to tomorrow, she wasn't sure what she was going to do tomorrow, she hoped however, that it would be more eventful than today had, she hadn't exactly had a very interesting day and Cheryl hated that, she hated having a boring life, all she wanted was to do new things every day as well as keep the things that she was us to, she looked down at her feet as she walked watching the waves crash on to her feet and disappear again. She stopped once more and gazed over the sea which was black due to the time she was at the beach, she loved seeing the stars reflecting on the water.

[ [ I wish I could make myself believe ] ] Jazmine slowly made her way down the dark and deserted beach. She had come here only a hour or so early to watch the sunset over the horizon like she always did. It had been a habit of hers, ever since her father had taken her here on one of his very few days off when she had been about eight.
She could remember the day like it was yesterday. They had spent the entire day playing in the sand and water, building sandcastles as the water came up filling the makeshift moat before attacking the castle itself. It was one of the only time she could actually remember spending more than a couple hours with her father.
As she continued down the beach she allowed her feet to sink into the sand as the water came up and soak her feet before retreating back into the body of water from which it had come. She loved the feel that it created having the sand between her toes was so calming but she couldn't understand why. She continued along carrying her newly bought flipflops in her hand.
As she continued she could begin to make out a small figure standing by the edge of the water. They figure got closer and she realized that they figured was also walking. As the figure approached Jazmine could make out that it was a young women that could only be a year or so older than her if that. She suddenly changed her mind and sat down at the edge of the water, just out of reach of the tide, and waited for the figure to come to her.

Cheryl was absent mindedly walking along the waters edge feeling the water crash on to her feet and the sand on her feet. She looked up across the horizon and saw a figure, it was something she didn't see very often at this time of night, she was us to walking along the beach on her own. She looked down at her feet so not to stare at the person who was walking along the beach towards her.
Cheryl however couldn't help but look at the person walking, she saw that it was a girl, not a young girl, but a girl. She seemed to have stopped, then she sat down away from the waters edge and she was looking out over the sea. Cheryl stopped for a second and walked further in to the sea so to get the feeling of the water further up her legs.
Cheryl stood out of the water for a few seconds letting her legs dry up a little before she started walking again, she walked over to where the girl was sitting, she was walking a little slowly for her usual pace so not to approach the girl too quickly and frighten her.
She stopped just a few paces away and looked out over the sea, she sat down where she was stood and turned to the other girl. Nice night tonight isn't it. She stated as she looked back over the sea again.
